The pedigree of hallowed ‘60s trio, Cream —Ginger Baker’s son Kofi Baker, Jack Bruce’s son Malcolm Bruce, and Eric Clapton’s nephew Will Johns—have come together for the first time to pay homage to the band’s extraordinary legacy with THE MUSIC OF CREAM – 50TH ANNIVERSARY WORLD TOUR.
The Music of Cream – 50th Anniversary World Tour is primed to take over Kalamazoo State Theatre on Saturday, November 17th and celebrate the music and legacy their family members created. Prepare to hear personal stories, and songs such as “Sunshine of Your Love,” “Crossroads,” “Spoonful” and “White Room” performed across a comprehensive set including footage of their fathers and mentors on the big screen, as well as never-before-seen footage and photos. This multi-media concert experience has been specially created for the 50th Anniversary Tour, providing some of rock’s most memorable moments with a new lease on life.
Now, the trio of Baker, Bruce and Johns are looking forward to inspiring and re-igniting the Kalamazoo State Theatre audience with their very own celebration of a musical legacy that runs through their veins, Saturday, November 17th.

Is there an opener? This will be an intimate evening with The Music Of Cream full of throw back hits and stories of the original members.
What time does the show start and when will doors open? What if I need ADA assistance? We suggest that you arrive early in order to avoid the line and to pass through security check points. We look forward to a great night! Anyone with ADA needs and requiring additional time to be seated may enter 15 minutes prior to posted door time. Please be advised that event times are subject to change due to a variety of conditions including inclement weather, illness, and transportation delays that are out of our control. For this reason, any delayed events performing on the original event date are nonrefundable.
I have VIP, what do I need to know? VIP purchasers will receive an email 1-2 days prior to the event with all details. As of now, plan on meeting at the venue at 3:45p.m. right before the 4:00p.m VIP soundcheck. Keep an eye out for the official details solely addressing VIP. Why should I arrive early? •There will be a shorter line entering the venue once doors open versus right before show time. We suggest that you arrive early to pass through security check points such as wanding and bag checks in a timely manner. •Check out the merchandise! What is the camera & mobile device policy? Unless otherwise posted, absolutely NO professional photography, audio or video recording of any kind is allowed during the performance. Cell phone photography and point-and-shoot cameras WITHOUT FLASH are allowed. Professional cameras and detachable lens cameras are not allowed in the venue unless approved by management. Will I be searched prior to entering the theatre? Where can I park for this event? How do I pick up Will Call tickets? When will the box office be open?
